MORE DETAILS IN THE EVENTS SECTION!

Hello everyone, Firstly i want to say that the server migration is taking longer than expected but will happen eventually. As of right now the site is running perfectly as is and we have not had any issues since upgrading our spending budget on the server.

There were some small issues that arose during one of our past updates that broke the photo sending feature. This issue has now been fixed and you are now able to send photos in private messages again!

We added a few new tabs one being our Events Tab. This is where you will find upcoming events being hosted by SL Connections! When the event is live it will be featured on the homepage of the site with a SLURL Button for your convenience!

We also added a Sponsors section, with big events coming up in the near future we will use this section to display creators, businesses that choose to sponsor our events and help make SL Connections one of the best places to be! Know anyone that may want a Sponsorship with SL Connections? Have them get in contact with Derek A. Johnson (Cory.Curtiz)

Lastly we added a new profile editing option, the option to change your DOB! Ages in SL change on a regular basis depending on ones story so you should be able to change it on here too! You are now able to do this in your profile edit page.

Thank you everyone for being with us, I'm very proud of the growth we have achieved in such a short time and we are only growing more every day! I can't thank you all enough. Keep an eye on that new events section in the next few days, something is coming just for you guys.

Hello all, I am announcing that due to our rapid growth in such a short amount of time we will need to migrate our platform to a new, more cost affective web host. This will keep the platform fair and affordable for everyone, not to mention we will be able to add more features to increase the quality of life for our members. This will not be done all in one day but over the course of 1 - 2 week(s). This time frame allows for everything to be moved over behind the scenes before relaunching the live site on the new server. All of your information should be transferred over with little to no issues.

In the case that we encounter a loss of any stored data such as profile information, premium, boost, or credit balances / exp dates, we will quickly reapply that for everyone and give a little extra for any inconvenience that takes place. Announcements will be made before the live site is swapped. During this time expect a short outage.

Thank you all again for your support and joining our platform. I hope to make this the best social platform for Second Life!

- SL Connections Team

Hello everyone, you may have noticed earlier in the day we were experiencing a slight issue with loading profiles, photos and other such things on the site. This was due to the amazing growth we have experienced and we needed to obtain more server space! While this may have caused a minor inconvenience, its one that i personally love to have because that means we are growing, and rapidly!

The server space has been expanded and the site is now operating normally. As always if you encounter any issues, bugs, or concerns submit a support ticket. Thank you again for all of your continued support!

The new update is now live!!

💗 SL Connections — Community & Messaging Update

We’ve rolled out another major update focused on making it easier—and more fun—to connect with other residents!

💬 New & Improved Messaging

Message Your Matches — Mutual matches can now message each other directly from their profiles.

♥ MATCHED Badge — When you and another resident mutually match, you’ll see a special MATCHED badge on their profile. Only the two matched members can see it.

📸 Send Photos Privately — You can now share photos directly in private conversations with your matches.

😊 Emojis in Chat — Emoji support has been added to chats to make conversations a little more expressive.

🔴 Live Chat Notifications — The Live Chat button now displays a red unread-count badge when new messages are waiting. No annoying popups!

🍓 A New Gift!

Looking for a small way to break the ice? We've added the new Strawberry Gift for just 10 Credits! Send a 🍓 to someone who caught your attention without breaking the credit bank.

⭐ Featured Member of the Week

The SL Connections homepage now features a randomly selected Featured Member of the Week!

Only verified members are eligible, and a new resident is selected every 7 days. Staff members are excluded from selection, keeping the spotlight entirely on our community.

💕 More Relationship Goals

We’ve expanded the Primary Relationship Goal options with: Friends W/ Benefits • Casual Encounters • Poly / Open Relationship

Whether you're looking for friendship, something casual, a serious relationship, or something in between, your profile can better represent what you're actually looking for.

Log in, update your profile, check your matches, and start making connections! 💗

During this time you may experience minor hiccups with the site so please don't be alarmed. A full update notification will be sent once the maintenance is complete. Thank you.
